i recently purchased a 2002 yamaha raptor 660R. it has some mods (suspension, bumpers, exhaust etc). i believe it has an oversized oil tank as well. whenever i check the engine oil (cold or hot) oil pours out of the diptsick hole. im assuming this means its way too full? so my question is. when i do my oil change it is going to take more than what the manual says. but how do i check the oil. do i warm the quad up and then check it or do i let it cool down to check it?
