Obviously a new gasket if a gasket is used. The 700 does require a gasket but I also used Yamabond 4 to hold it in place and in the area where the wires exit.

Personally, I now find it critical to use automotive split wire loom for protection from all of the vibrations. I didn't use it at first and even though I was very careful with wire routing, my aftermarket stator wires ended up rubbing against metal and ultimately grounded out and ruined my battery. Split wire loom would have avoided the original issue after replacing my stator... and it is now wrapped in split wire loom along with all of my aftermarket accessory wiring.
