Default 2016 Kodiak 700 top speed

Ok does anyone know what the top speed is? I got it up to 58.5 mph yesterday but ran out of road.

Should be about 65 mph or so. I had a Grizzly 660 before and it topped out at 62 mph with stock tires and the Kodiak has more power. I haven't topped out my Brute Force but I think it will do around 65 mph on top end. The BF 750 will get to 70. About 55 mph is the fastest I've had it up to and it had plenty more left.

That's what I was thinking about. Last night I had it out for a spin and raced my dad in his 2015 Polaris 550 Sportsman 2-Up. He didn't stand a chance, but what I was most surprised about was what the Kodiak did. I hit the gas and the wheelie it did in 2WD High was insane. I had to sit up on it just to bring it down and I rode it out for about 100' before it touched down.

Well I actually topped out my Brute Force Sunday and it wasn't quite as fast as I thought. Same top speed as the Grizzly 660, 62 mph. It did get there a little faster though. I might have gotten another mph or 2 out of it but I didn't want to run it wide open for very long. Its pretty hard on the engine to run like that for more than a few seconds at a time.

Bigger tires may give you a higher top speed, if you have a gps. My old AC 500 hit 64 mph gps with 30" Mudzillas, now with 25" Dunlops, it struggles to get to 55. I can't see it's much quicker, either. My AC Diesel, however loves the 30' Mudzillas, 49 mph! Was only 41 on the 25's.
