what kind of outfit do you pull your machines with?

Well, the old ride was a black 1996 F-350 XLT regular cab 4x4, 460, 5-speed, 3.55 posi rear, 33" BFG A/T KO's, brushguard, Cepek driving lights, Kenwood stereo, sunroof, Gale Banks stage 3 exhaust. It would pass anything but a gas station. I sold it off this summer & decided to downsize for a little more economy, so now I'm the proud owner of a 2003 F-150 XLT, 4.6l, 5-speed regular cab 4x4 shortbed. I just haul my wheeler in the bed.

<< yeah I thought it was a good price too the guy needed the money for his DUI I think.
where is that seal at? I couldn't find it. >>
Pop your hood and look down. right side of head facing the battery, where the #1 cams end is in the head. You will have to remove your intake tube off of your throttle body to get into it. If it is leaking there will be oil laying on top of your transmission. The factory seals tend to leak once you get around 50,000 miles or so. The new seal only cost about $4 bucks with tax, from a dealership, don't try and get one from a parts store. The factory replacement seal is made better than the original. Do not put any gasket sealer on it.

It's kind of odd about the trucks in different area's of the country. Here in Southwest Missouri the Cummins is tops with the PSD second and a few Duramax's are starting to show but not many. In Southeast Missouri the Duramax's are everywhere. They are making some serious power but I want to see how many of them are around with high mileage in a few years before I buy one to go with my Cummins. And I plan on modifying also so that throws another rock into the longevity question. One thing is for sure once you own a modded Diesel you will never want another gasser.

Me & my boy have a '96 Suburban 4-door 4X4 & a 6'X12' drive on trailor we use for our quads. We took the rear seat out & when we go to Royal Blue we stay a few days so we have a nice roomy place to sleep. We've got a small Titan generator that we use to run our heater, lights, coffee pot etc.... We strap our grill on the trailor & do alot of cookin. We are leavin today, he's on his spring break from school, to go to Royal Blue for a couple of days. We took the Suburban up Sat. in the rain to find us a place to camp & I tell ya, with the new 8-ply tires we just had put on & droppin the air pressure 15lbs, we didn't even have to put it in 4-wheel & we went 4 miles back in there. Done a little slidin, a little muddin, let him drive a little comin out, he's 7yr. old lol, & had a blast. I'll hopefully have some pictures to post in a few days.
