Should there be oil on the flywheel of a yamaha warrior? ( is this even the flywheel?)

seems like there is a good amount of oil in the case that holds the flywheel, is this normal or is there a leak? And if so is this tough to fix?
EDIT: the case that I am talking about is the case where the end of the starter goes in! Is the gear in there the flywheel?
Edit: mass amounts of oil!

Far I know there should be no oil on the fly wheel at all. Which mean you got a leak somewhere.
So you need to take of the flywheel, stator and clean it up and you might able to see where the leak is coming from. That what I would do..... It not tough to do at all. Sound pretty simple enough.
Good luck
