Video: Hillclimbing Geometry Class
Hi kids – it’s time to travel back to geometry class. Starting at flat ground, anything up to a 90º (straight up and down) is considered an acute angle. And we’ve seen some pretty impressive acute climbs – 70º, 80º, maybe even a rare 90º climb up a vertical wall.
What we have here today is even crazier. This is an obtuse angle climb! That’s when it actually surpasses straight up and down and actually begins to curve outward away from center. In short, the driver is defying gravity twice on a climb like this.
Somehow, though, this guy makes it look easy.
