GNCC Final Round Coverage: Ironman

And away they go.
Engines roared to life beneath a pale autumn sky as hundreds of riders lined up on the starting field of the 2025 Yamaha Racing Ironman GNCC, the grand finale of the 2025 Progressive Grand National Cross Country Racing (GNCC Racing) Series, an AMA National Championship. The air was thick with anticipation and the sharp scent of fuel and fall foliage, a trademark of this legendary event in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Spectators crowded along the fence lines, cheering as the flag dropped and a thunderous wave of quads surged forward.
In a commanding performance at the season-finale Ironman GNCC in Crawfordsville, Indiana, Phoenix Racing Yamaha’s Brycen Neal surged into the lead by lap two and held it to the checkered flag. Meanwhile, Stewart Boys Racing/Kenda/Pierce Performance’s Wyatt Wilkin battled his way at the front of the pack to secure a hard-fought podium finish to end the season.

WFR/Kenda/Fly Racing/BNR’s Walker Fowler ultimately rounded out the podium in third after Merritt Racing/BNR Motorsports/GBC’s Joshua Merritt was docked one position for an on-track incident, shifting the final results and adding another twist to an already dramatic season finale.
Having a back-and-forth day at Ironman was HHR/Fly Racing/QuadTech’s Hunter Hart, as he would come through the finish fifth overall. Hart would make a run towards the front of the pack, running third at one point in the race, but would ultimately be pushed back forcing himself to put on a hard charge to the checkered flag.
OBOR/Moose Racing/Parts Unlimited/Lonestar’s Adam McGill had a good ride at the season finale in Indiana as he finished sixth overall on the day, continuing to battle throughout the two-hour race to conclude the 2025 season. BNR Motorsports/Fearless/Kenda Tire’s Steven Harrell also found himself consistently in seventh place as he came through timing and scoring.
Coming through in eighth overall was Action Off-Road/AMSOIL/CB Racing’s Chris Borich. After coming through 12th on the opening lap, Borich would put his head down and push on through the Indiana trails. As the checkered flag flew, Borich would have made his way up through the pack by four for his eighth place finish. Action Off-Road/Maxxis Tires/Lonestar Racing’s Austin Abney put in a good ride after starting towards the front. Abney continued to battle for the duration of the race. CST Tires/Fly Racing/Elka/LMR Motors’ Braxton Grosse started his day out on the front row in XC1 and would round out the top 10 overall finishers.
Returning from an injury sustained earlier in the year, Ryland Johnson Racing/SSi Decals/Maxxis Tire’s Elijah Edmondson came back ready to battle. Edmondson would push through and earn the XC2 class win ahead of BNR Motorsports/Senge Graphics/GBC Tire’s Logan Steele and Hilltop Motorsports/Action Off-Road’s Daulton Keyes. All three riders would battle their way through the rugged terrain at the season finale in Indiana.
Earning Top Amateur honors at the Yamaha Racing Ironman GNCC was Cole Lykins as he came through to take the College A class win and 16th overall in the race. Bryce Pullen would come through to stand in second on the Top Amateur podium as he earned second in the College A class and 27th overall. Aiden Jones rounded out the Top Amateur podium with a third in College A, and a 28th overall finishing position.

In the morning ATV race, it was Pro Row 784/Victory Golf Cart’s Brandon Frazier coming through to take the overall win as he held the lead position in the 4×4 Pro class and overall race for all five laps. Frazier found himself out front early and used it to her advance to continue to pull away from the competition. KMK Off-Road/OBOR/FXR’s Kaden Wharff put himself in a good position as he sat second in the 4×4 Pro class and overall, in the race as he came through the finish line after five laps of intense racing through the Indiana woods. 250 All-Star competitor, Noah Lykins would round out the top three overall finishers in the AM ATV race. Lykins would also earn his class win as he battled throughout the duration of the two-hour race.

Rounding out the 4×4 Pro top three was, DeRisi Powersports/Fly Racing/GBC Tire’s Dylan Walraven. As he started out in the sixth place position, Walraven would put his head down and move forward throughout the next couple of laps, finding himself up to third by the time the checkered flag was waving at the finish line.
Osburn Off-Road/Pierce Performance/Moose Racing’s Chloe Harper would grab the early lead at the Yamaha Racing Ironman GNCC in the WXC ATV class. As the race continued on, she would continue to place a gap over the rest of the WXC field. When the checkered flag flew, Harper would take the class win over Osburn Off-Road/Fearless/Kenda Tire’s Hannah Hunter and Elioff Racing/BNR Motorsports/GBC Tire’s Jessica Elioff. Hunter would also have a consistent day as she managed to hold onto the second place position for the duration of the race. Elioff would work her way up from a fourth place start to the day, battling for majority of the laps to take the last spot on the podium in Indiana.
