Yamaha has designed the lightest and fastest sport ATV in the class, the Raptor 250. With a special edition model, and all of the features and custom options, this is the hot ticket for Yamaha. 

The light and powerful 249cc air-cooled SOHC four-stroke single produces a broad, deep powerband. A five-speed manual transmission is a class-exclusive– it has excellent trail, dune and track capabilities. The electric starter is standard equipment and works in any gear. A new three-chamber muffler adds to the motors low- and midrange performance, and gives it that deep thunder we all love about 4-strokes.

Built as the ultimate lightweight sport ATV, the Raptor 250 has superb handling too. Independent double-wishbone front suspension with five-way preload-adjustable shocks gives 7.5 inches of wheel travel. A rigid and light swingarm rear end is controlled by a shock with adjustable preload and 7.9 inches of wheel travel for consistent wheel control and rider comfort. Triple hydraulic disc brakes deliver excellent stopping power even in wet conditions. New-design Dunlop low profile tires deliver outstanding traction for razor-sharp handling in a variety of terrain.

Maintenance is not an issue with the Raptor 250. New-design bodywork comes off without the need to disassemble electrical parts, airbox or wiring harness for easy maintenance. The easy-access grease fittings on all chassis lubrication points simplify maintenance and help extend the life of the Raptor 250. The easy-adjust eccentric chain adjustment feature means hassle-free chain maintenance, while the waterproof electrical connectors mean outstanding durability and reliability.

Racers will love the extra cool features and ergonomic design and feel. The extra-wide YFZ450-style footpegs provide excellent grip and rider comfort. The flat, composite skid plates provide maximum underbelly protection. Dual 30-watt multi-reflector Krypton headlights straight off the potent YFZ450 add the perfect menacing appearance. The taillight has an incorporated brakelight for added convenience.

Toping off the special edition Black/Orange model are adjustable front brake levers, GYTR heel guards, GYTR front grab bar, bright LED taillights, and separate graphics package for total customization. This is the best ATV in the class hands down!
