Ask the Editors: Baja 300 Wiring Diagram Help
Dear ATVC: Bought a National Motor Co 300cc extreme ATV that says it has a Suzuki motor can anyone help me with wiring diagram? I need to know what wires go to ignition coil just trying to run the ATV & don’t care about lights reverse indicators etc. Jeremiah E Thomas
We’re assuming that model in question is actually the Baja Extreme X300 which was distributed in a few different brandings. Believe it or not, the engine is actually taken from a motorcycle manufactured by Suzuki called the GN250.
As such, we have the wiring diagram but do bear in mind there may be a few changes between it and your ATV as the motorcycle version does of course include street-mandated running gear like turn singles, horn etc. As you said you are just looking to follow the ignition/ engine portion of the wiring schematic, here you are:
