Ask the Editors: Who Is Odes?
Odes was founded in 2011 in California and has since moved its base of operations to Dallas, Texas (as of 2016). Theirs is a business strategy of global spec; meaning their machines are designed here in the United States, parts are spec’ed from suppliers all over the globe (Canada, USA, Mexico, Taiwan, Japan etc.) and then the machines are assembled and set up in Texas.
It is this method that allows them to be so competitive in terms of MSRP when compared to similarly spec’ed machines made up of components they themselves manufacture.

We have typically heard positive feedback from our own readers, which verifies the companies claims that they put their UTVS through extensive testing to the tune of 3,000 mile/ 2,000 on/off cycles. Their standard warranty on either of the models (2018) you are considering looks like this:
Engine Parts – 48 months
Transmission: Transmission, Differentials – 24 months
Electrical: Harness, CDI Instruments, Cluster Fuel Injectors – 12 months
Suspension: Shocks – 12 months
Brake: Calipers – 12 months
Exhaust: Header Pipe, Muffler – 12 months
Frame: Frame – 12 months
Clutch: CVT Clutch – 12 months
Common Parts: Winch, Sound System, LEDs – 3 months
Labor: Labor on approved manufactured defect claims – 12 months
There are also several extended factory warranty options for either machine for an upcharge (which can be financed across the life of the loan).

A final piece of interesting trivia is their logo – which contains the date 12-15-1791, history buffs may recognize this as the date the Constitutional Amendments and Bill of Rights became law. They represent this important event because as they say it: “We believe in this day and age, those rights are now becoming increasingly infringed upon. We believe these rights are sacred and should be protected. We stand behind these rights and hope to create awareness of these rights. The importance of this date marks the date in which Americans became able to protect themselves as well as have protection from the Government, something we are losing.”
