Ask The Editors: BSI ATV Parts
Made in Taiwan once upon a time.

Dear ATVC: I am trying to find out information regarding a quad I purchased. The sticker says it’s a BSI 100cc (2-stroke, water cooled ATV). I am trying to find spares like head/piston but unable to find any information on the quad. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Believe it or not, you have a pretty interesting machine. BSI ATV Products were a series of liquid cooled smaller bore performance quads made in Taiwan (not China like so many of the off-brand machines flooding the market at the time).

They wanted to differentiate themselves from the off-brand stigma by creating a dealer network and offer parts support. Sadly, the efforts were in vain as BSI folded in the early 2010s.

As much as we’d like to tell you that there is some golden stash of leftover BSI parts out there just a credit card number away from being yours, the truth is OEM parts of any kind are becoming fewer and farther between with each passing year.

Your best bet is to keep an ongoing search in eBay for “BSI Streak Parts” as they do occasionally pop up (both new old stock as well as components from individuals parting out their old units).

We’re not sure where you are located geographically, but keeping a search notification on google isn’t a bad idea as well, as occasionally entire used vehicles like the one you purchased come up on occasion like this one here.
