Dear ATVC: Been lurking this site reading reviews etc. but now I’m ready to take the plunge and I could use some help. I’m from Canada but spending this winter in AZ. I’d like to buy a used ATV but have no idea which resource to look. Craigslist isn’t really a thing in Canada, most people use a site called Kijiji but I can’t find anything similar. Up here Craigslist is like a last resort and bad reputation. Would I be best off searching dealers for a used ATV or will I be gouged on price? Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.
What we’d recommend is checking out Oodle. What they do is take your search criteria and spread it across all of the major classified sites around the globe (including their own). Their results will have included sites like eBay Motors, LetGo, ATVTrader.com, Cars.com etc. as well as listings from dealers as well as private sellers.
You will have the option of limiting your searches locally or spreading out the deals from around the globe. ATV.com has added a classified section to their site with the option to search both privately as well as dealership postings.
And of course ATV Connection’s parent company also owns a classified site called SprocketList that only deals in powersports ads. That may be something worth checking out as well.
