Dear ATVC: I have an 86 Honda TRX350 4×4. Anybody know how to replace stock CDI ignition with a system that has better parts availability?

We hate to break it to you- but from the ignition key switch to the CDI box to the coil itself aren’t only readily available through any genuine Honda dealership, you should be able to find any of the bits (new and used) on sites like eBay.

As the 1986 and 1987 TRX350 was virtually unchanged, the ignition components are compatible for either model year.
