Kawasaki Team Green Cleans Up at DP4 Round 2
Howls of the Teryx in the desert.

Deep in the desolate desert congregate a crowd of off-road racing enthusiasts for Round 2 of the Desert Production 4 (DP4) Racing Championship, a one day, 125-mile cross-country race through rugged desert terrain in Johnson Valley, California. Kawasaki Team Green drivers Jeremy McGrath and Zach Kisman proved the pace and durability of their Teryx KRX 1000 sport side x sides by securing convincing wins in the Production 1000 and DP4 Pro NA Classes, respectively.

In the Production 1000 Class, McGrath displayed his legendary race craft early after building a narrow three-second gap ahead of his main rivals by the end of Lap 1. Thanks to ample preparation time, McGrath navigated the treacherous course with ease and drove ahead of the stiff competition to claim his first DP4 victory of the year in his inaugural race with the series.

“I couldn’t be happier with how the race went. The course was brutal, but my Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 handled it like a champ. The power and agility of the KRX gave me the confidence to push the limit and it paid off with the win. It feels amazing to be on the top step of the podium in my first DP4 race this year. Thanks to Kawasaki for building such an incredible machine.” – Jeremy McGrath

In the DP4 Pro NA Class, Kisman also proved a force to be reckoned with as he gapped his closest competition by nearly seven seconds after the opening lap. Kisman’s Teryx KRX 1000 performed flawlessly throughout the entire two-hour race, allowing the No.105 driver to push the limits of his side by side and outmatch his challengers en route to claiming his second consecutive DP4 Pro NA Class win of the DP4 Racing Championship season.
