If you’re planning on attending or following any hill climb events in 2026, you may happen upon a machine that looks like a high tech RC car made full size tearing up the course. We saw pics and had to learn more about it ourselves.

STRYKER is a new breed of high-performance vehicle: a purpose-built race UTV developed from the ground-up for speed and control on any terrain. With a chassis and aero package built around a proven drivetrain, STRYKER represents the cutting edge of off-road capability and accessible motorsport innovation.

Born from the vision of Pikes Peak champion Cole Powelson, our very first vehicle – the Stryker Rogue Maverick – is a test bed engineered to conquer one of the world’s most demanding races: the 2025 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

Watch as Cole Powelson pilots the prototype Stryker Rogue Maverick R as the first-ever UTV to be sanctioned as an entry in the Open Wheel class! Cole is the 2024 Pikes Peak World Champion, a multiple time-attack record holder, the Mt. Washington 2WD record holder, and more! The Stryker Rogue Maverick is based on a stock Can-Am Maverick R with tunes and compound turbos from Evolution Powersports, Yokohama tires, Shock Therapy suspension, just to mention a few.

A completely custom, blank-sheet chassis build is the base of the Rogue Maverick, along with an aero package developed specifically for the demands of Pikes Peak. Powered by a custom-built, compound turbo’d ROTAX race engine built by Evolution Powersports, the Rogue Maverick blends a proven and developed drivetrain with an innovative platform.

Oh and in case you’re thinking this is just one of those cases of pure unobtainium, STRYKER will build you one and is currently taking preorders. This kind of performance doesn’t come cheap, though – you’ll need $175,000 to get yourself one of these 500HP beasts. We suspect winning races to pay back the steep cost of admission would be very achievable, though.
