Meet Ziesel: The ATV For Riders Who Really Want a Tank

By -

Ziesel
Picture it: two permanent-magnet synchronous motors sending 21 horsepower and 30 pound-feet of torque to tank-style tracks, a 6 kWh battery pack with integrated heating that stores enough juice for 4 or 5 hours of continuous operation, and a dry weight of 460 pounds and single-handed steering.

The Zisel is truly one of the most unique ATVs being manufactured today, and while it’s an attention-getter in photos, the video clip below really demonstrates what makes the machine so versatile.

The sad news is there doesn’t seem to be much talk of exporting the German creation here to the U.S. at this time, though they are street-legal in Europe.

Delivery time of the fully customizable ATVs is clocking in at 10-12 weeks with full-scale production set to get underway at the end of this year. More info.
