New Player in Town: TGB ATV and SxS

The TGB Blade 1000 – one of many new machines coming to the US for the first time.
It is said the only winner with increased competition is the consumer and to that end, it looks like there is another ATV and side-by-side manufacturer just now arriving to the US hoping to toss its hat into the ring.
Called TGB for Taiwan Golden Bee, the brand is in fact not new nor is it associated with Taiwan’s sometime dubious reputation for quality. See TGB has been around since 1965 and, while it initially got its start in producing scooters for the Vespa brand, they’ve been at this thing continually in the years since.
After manufacturing CVTs for the ATVs of the world all through the 90s, they decided back in 2005 to start producing ATVs of their own. These quads have been available in Europe for years and are often recipients of awards for quality and value.
They’re finally getting US distribution and from the material they’ve passed along, we have to agree – they pack an awful lot of machine into their MSRPs.
Let’s take a closer look at what they have in store.
ATV
BLADE

For ATVs, the Blade platform represents their utility segment. Available in 600 and 1000cc variants and across a massive degree of trim packages (everything from a 2-up to a dump bed), the Blade 600 starts at $8,555 and the top of the line Blade 1000 goes for $12,134.

TARGET
Until now the Polaris Scrambler has been in a class by itself but TGB is about to change that with the Target. It’s a 600cc sport 4×4 that comes standard with ABS and a factory winch for $10,276.

SxS
LANDMAX
TGB’s UTV offering will be the Landmax series – and, while the line isn’t finished yet, it looks like it too will be available in 1000 and 600cc incarnations and, like with the quads, come in a variety of trim packages including heated cabs, additional seating, dump bed versions etc. Pricing has yet to be finalized.

More Information
Taiwan Golden Bee will be headquartered in Georgia here in the US and busily setting up its dealer network as we speak. More information on their machines or dealer inquiries can be found on their official site, here.
