Rancho Introduces Suspension System, RS9000XL ProSeries Coil-Over Shocks and Accessories to Powersports Market

LONG BEACH, CALIF, Feb. 28, 2008 – Rancho – one of the world’s top performance suspension brands – has launched a brand-new long-travel suspension system, a complete line of RS9000XL ProSeries coil-over shocks, and a line of Rancho RockGEAR accessories for the popular ATV/UTV markets. The new products offer coverage of the hugely popular 2007-08 Polaris RZR and Yamaha Rhino models.

Rancho, a Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) award-winning brand in the automotive aftermarket, is the performance suspension, shock absorbers and accessories brand of Tenneco Inc. (NYSE: TEN). Rancho will make its introduction into the powersports marketplace at the upcoming Dealer Expo, Indianapolis, Ind., in February.

“This is an exciting opportunity for Rancho,” said Rancho General Manager Joe Pase. “We’re expanding the performance abilities of these vehicles while answering the suspension and accessories needs of an entirely new customer.”

The new Rancho long-travel suspension system, available for Yamaha Rhino, increases suspension travel, improves ground clearance and enhances stability. Completely compatible with the Rancho RS9000XL coil-over shock series, the kit features billet 6061 aluminum upper control arms with contrast machining, HSLA steel lower control arms, Delrin control arm bushings, and precision high-strength rod end and uniball.

Noted as the off-road industry’s first company to introduce adjustable shock absorbers and wireless adjustable tuning systems, Rancho also will release RS9000XL ProSeries coil-over shocks for stock and lifted Polaris RZR and Yamaha Rhino models. Rancho RS9000XL coil-over shocks, finished in Liquid Metallic Silver, feature high-performance, self-lubricating, replaceable composite bearings and anodized aluminum reservoirs with stainless steel braided hoses.

The RS9000XL shocks also work with the 2007 SEMA-award winning MyRide™ Wireless Tuning System that features a MyRide Wireless Controller. Allowing for wireless, remote tuning of RS9000XL shock absorbers, the controller includes a driver-determined MyRide setting, allowing the user to input his own preferrred ride setting and save it for future use.

Rounding out the Rancho ATV/UTV product line, Rancho has introduced RockGEAR, a brand-new line of off-road accessories, including:

–    Front and Rear Bumpers for the 2007 Yamaha Rhino and Polaris RZR

–    Rear Cage or Rear Cage Package with Tire Rack, Gas Can, and Cooler Holder for the 2007 Yamaha Rhino
