SIDI Adventure Gore Tex Boots Coming to the US

The world of ATV moto boots has to balance the thin line between protection, comfort, resistance to some grueling conditions and if, possible, style. To that end, premium boot maker SIDI has decided to up the ante.
The great success SIDI has had in the USA with the Adventure Rain boot has made Motonation decide to import the Gore Tex version as well.
This premiere Adventure boot will combine SIDI’s best touring and off road features into an effective adventure boot design. It will be Gore Tex breathable and waterproof membrane-equipped to add a water resistant yet breathable barrier between the elements and the rider’s feet.
Some of the boots’ Feature set includes:
Soft rubber sole for maximum grip
Replaceable strap system
Top grain leather construction
Composite inner sole
Removable arch support
Exclusive cam-lock buckle system
Cambrelle lining
Slim, cool non-bootie design
Rigid, shock resistant, anatomically shaped heel for maximum protection
Split grain leather inner anti-wear/heat panel
Single Flex System upper
Available in metric sizes from 40 thru 48 (sizes 7 to 13 USA)
Black Exterior
Available at SIDI dealers in late February
Gore Tex fabrics are created by laminating our patented membrane to high-performance textiles, then sealing them with an innovative solution for guaranteed waterproof protection.
The bad news is that the retail price looks to be the highest of any boot we’ve ever encountered at 5. SIDI claims that this high price-point is due to an abnormally high import duty rate (tax) of 20%.
