Gravity can’t take us all. Sometimes the idea of making up a technical climb sounds easier than it proves to be in practice. Case in point – a couple side-by-sides make it up with relative ease. Then an ATV. The next ATV pilot, filled with false confidence, learns gravity did not forget him.

So close yet so far away. This guy, with the support of his cig smoking friends, very nearly crested the hill that’s been haunting his dreams. The only thing standing in his way was a tree. And when that stops him, he tries to go full bulldozer on it.

2 – 1 = 1. Riding two-up on an ATV is challenging but made even more so when the slope turns upward. This guy grabbed his GoPro and his girl and demonstrated the laws of physics perfectly. We’re gonna go ahead and guess he had to sleep on the couch that night.

We like to like think we’ve witnessed the full spectrum of crash possibilities around here but every once in a while a clip comes along that reminds us the outcomes to these things are nearly limitless.

Gravity vs. 4×4 The situation seems easy enough- get man and machine to the top of the hill. Together, preferably. Pro Tip: It’s never very encouraging when the ATV returns riderless.

You mean we both need to make it? Generally a successful hill climb attempt is one where man and machine crest the peak together. But as this clip demonstrates, sometimes you have to chalk it up as a win when even just one of the two make it to the top.
