2008 Dealer Expo Preview

By: Tiffany Tudyk

undefinedThe 2008 Dealer Expo is upon us. As many of the dealers have seen, this is the most comprehensive show to display aftermarket products and accessories. This year, as in the past, ATVs, UTVs, MUVs and all of the in-betweens will be the stars of the show. Climb on, and let’s go for a ride.

Fueled by Advanstar Communications, this year’s Dealer Expo is going to be the biggest and best one yet. With hundreds of undefinedbooths covering the gamut of accessories, gear, apparel, protective gear, engine parts, suspension, electronics and much more, this is one show that gets the industry pumped and ready for a great riding and racing season. Also worthy of mention are two days of free seminars for dealers, retailers, wholesalers, and media. Topics include Cutting Costs, Future Growth, Selling Services and much more.

The Dealer Expo will highlight the Kickstart Winners and the show-stopping products that these expos were made for. These product companies include Adaptiv undefinedTechnologies, advanced FLOW engineering, IHT-Technology, Inc., TechNiche International and a handful more.

With more and more dealers showing off new vehicles and products this year, there will an entire Pavilion dedicated to International products. The International Pavilion has companies from Canada, China, Germany, England, France, Czech Republic, Poland, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, the UK, Pakistan, and Taiwan. Additionally, because there are so many new products, they will undefinedhave their own separate hall as well. New dealers include Advanced Performance Industries, BuggieLights, Damzl Inc., Speedwerx Inc. and Tricky Dirt Billet. Of course, big names across the industry such as Maxxis, Warn Industries, Jet Moto, FMF Racing, MSD and Fox Shocks will be there, too.

Currently, it looks as if many up and coming manufacturers are ready to make some noise and compete with big name manufacturers like Honda, Yamaha and Polaris. What will be the next big name on the market? Will it be DIAMO, Kymco, or some other brand that will make a break into the industry?

Come back February 22nd for ATVConnection’s Day 1 coverage of the 2008 Dealer Expo. The highlights of the show will be featured right here on the home page. If you would like to see something in particular, email me at: tiffany.tudyk@atvconnection.com and I’ll try to facilitate your request.
