Polaris Additives Protect Vehicles from E-10

With today’s Ethanol blended fuels, it is critical to treat the fuel used in vehicles that see limited or intermittent use with a quality fuel stabilizer and carbon clean. Polaris Fuel Stabilizer and Carbon Clean are designed and tested by the engineers at Polaris Industries to address the negative effects of today’s fuels as well as prevent fuel degradation in all Polaris vehicles.

Carbon Clean- Polaris Carbon Clean is a complete fuel treatment and fuel system cleaner combination. It treats fuel for storage or for vehicles that see intermittent use and removes moisture from fuel. It is designed to address today’s modern Ethanol-blended fuels that tend to absorb moisture easier than non-blended fuels. Polaris Carbon Clean also cleans valves, sticky rings and carbon deposits. It contains dispersants that break down carbon molecules which build up on internal engine parts and allow them to be burned in the engine and expelled through the exhaust.

Polaris Fuel Stabilizer and Carbon Clean are available at all Polaris dealerships. For more information, please visit www.purepolarisoil.com

ATV Motocross National Championship Coverage

The 2011 AMA ATV Motocross National Championship Series heads to Unadilla Valley Sports Center in New Berlin, NY, July 16th and 17th, for round 9 of the 11-round race series. With only three races left in the series, the championship title is coming down to the wire.

Round 8 mixed up the results board a bit as Chad Wienen dropped back to third in points, John Natalie took over the lead and Josh Upperman advanced to within seven points from the leader. Rookie Chase Snapp finally captured his first-ever moto win in the AMA Pro class after putting in several top five finishes all season long. As one of the newest additions to the AMA Pro class, Snapp is acclimating himself to the Premier class very quickly this year.

After taking a win in the last round, Baldwin Motorsports Honda’s Josh Upperman sits only seven points behind Motoworks Can-Am’s John Natalie for the points lead, the closest Upperman has been all year. However, Natalie is bouncing back from a broken arm, giving him a bit of a disadvantage heading into Unadilla this weekend. Florida’s Jeremy Lawson has been a force to reckon with all season long, often setting the fastest lap times in the race; however, the Walsh Race Craft Suzuki rider hasn’t been consistent enough. Yet still, Lawson is always a top contender for the overall win, especially at Unadilla this weekend.

Due to a scheduling conflict, the 2011 ATVMX banquet date has been changed. Originally scheduled for November 5 at the Grand Resort Hotel in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., the ATVMX banquet will take place at the same location on October 29 at 5 p.m.

Similar to last year, dinner reservations are available for all ATVMX participants. Registration fees for the dinner are for adults and for children ages 5-11. Children under 4 attend free of charge.

As the season comes to a close, more detailed information will be released for the banquet. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please email media@atvmotocross.com

GNCC Coverage

Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s Chris Borich overcame multiple obstacles this weekend when piloting his Yoshimura-equipped Suzuki QuadRacer R450 to victory at the John Penton GNCC, round eight of the 2011 ATV Grand National Cross Country series, in Millfield, OH.

Saturday’s race saw reigning ATV XC1 Champion Borich get a great start on his Rockstar Makita Suzuki QuadRacer and take the lead immediately. Although he battled back and forth with rivals and had a few “moments,” Borich regained the lead on the last lap and made it stick to the checkers. This marks Borich’s fourth win of the season.
