UTV Spotlight: Kubota Sidekick

The versatile Kubota Sidekick is back for 2025.
In its second year of production, the 2025 Kubota Sidekick UTV offers utility performance, versatility and durability. When a job needs to be done or the great outdoors calls, the Sidekick provides a 54 horsepower gas engine with 48 lb-ft. of torque to quickly get riders where they need to be, even under load.
That engine is Kubota’s all-new 851 cc 4-stroke twin cylinder gasoline engine was designed to deliver a smooth 54 HP. Equipped with EFI for increased reliability and coupled with Kubota’s limited slip 4-wheel drive system, versatility and reliability is the name of the game.
The Sidekick features an ergonomic meter panel steering wheel and shift knob, along with bright LED headlights and convenience utility features. The Sidekick boasts a unique design that showcases a variety of eye-catching features, such as updated decals, a cozy bench seat, striking headlights, a digital dashboard, and a sturdy cargo box.

The Sidekick can carry 1,000 pounds and tow up to 1,550 pounds on hills and 2,000 pounds on flat terrain. The smart new Digital Panel alerts riders to all major vehicle functions with seat belt, parking brake, overheating and intermediate gear control indicators, and the white LCD display provides excellent visibility at all times. The ergonomic steering wheel can be adjusted for easier handling and greater comfort.
Tuned suspension for handling any rugged terrain, with full or empty pay load, Kubota calls the Sidekick Part workhorse, part racehorse. Output is designed so that speed and acceleration blur the line between work and fun.

Various accessories are available including a door set, glass windshield, poly flip windshield, cargo bed extender, WARN VRX 3500 winch and more. A two-year/1,000-hour warranty is included and the MSRP starts at only $14,799.
