150 auto won't move
We have this chinese 150cc auto 2wd that starts and goes into "d" and "r" no problem and you can see the lever on transaxle moveinto place and chain tighten to go but when you give her the gas she just sits there and stalls (you can see that it wants to go but doesn't)
any sudgestions?:huh: |
never mind ......figured it out on our own.
turned the throttle screw out to max and managed to get it to finally move under it's own power. Kept dieing though....cracked the gas tank open (was full) yet didn't have the sharp smell of gas as normally......friend blew into the tank hose to see if some silt had settled in the tank only to find out that the gas tasted more like water than gas. drained the tank compleetly and tomorow will clean out the bowl ect. and see where that gets us. |
Take the jets out also after you remove the fuel bowl. Make sure you can see light through both of the jets. Clean everything in there.
LMK if the trans feels like it is slipping or if it ok. |
mr.firemouth;
the trans feels fine when we had it runing jsut before we discovered the water in the fuel. only thing was a slight hesitation (in D say) as you pushed on the throttle then off it went. |
The hesitation is from the carburetor, after you get it running again turn the screw on the carburetor with the spring to the right until the idle increases and runs smoother. Should help.

READY TO ROCK NOW!!!
took 5 1/2 hrs one day to tear the bike down....broken wires, unplugged wires, cut hose yada yada yada. up and running now and for a 150 cc chinese atv we are really impressed with how it performs. the wife is really happy now and the trailer is all up and ready to go as well. |
