Default Tao Tao 125cc 2010

Hey! I'm thinking of buying a used Tao Tao 125 for 350$ online from someone. My question is if I need new parts for this thing, especially a new battery, do I need to buy straight from Tao Tao? If so, how expensive are these parts? Also, does anyone have any idea how long these batteries last before being burnt out?

Thanks a lot!

You can get batteries from any motorcycle shop, take the old one with you. As for lasting, how long is a piece of string, one to twenty years?

A lot of parts from one Chinese/Taiwanese make will fit another, the problem is knowing what will and what won't fit. I don't know about Tao Tao, but spare parts for most Chinese makes are very cheap and rather poor quality.
