I wish someone would reply to this Question
I know there are big bore kits but what is elusive or no one can tell me is whether or not one only needs to bore out (maybe then re-sleeve) the cylinder (block) [obviously if you a retired politician money is no object you can just buy a 125 block or cylinder and put it on your 110 and what does the big bore consist of what does it come with - iow do you need a new crank, new cylinder head etc. becuase the 125 head has bigger size inlet and exhaust valves

4 Stroke Big Bore Kits

that company sells kits, but you have to contact them for pricing/info

I am pretty sure the 125 and 110 have the same stroke, so you should just need a cylinder and piston, but if your head is smaller you would be way better off just buying a brand new 125 off ebay for ~$225 shipped

125CC AUTOMATIC ENGINE MOTOR ASSY ATV QUAD GO KART DIRT BIKE | eBay

with a price like that it may not be worth boring your motor.. you may even be able to sell the old one to recoup some of the cost

I do to. I have a Fuxin "110cc" atv 107cm3 (107cc) and I was interested in a big bore kit...

I found this link:

Default BBK - Big Bore Kit's for 110cc...

I did find BBK's for 110cc but they are expensive and that plus (limited demand?) seems to be the reason not many people install them.

The work as follows 114cc cylinder and a high compression piston.

TB 114cc High Compression BBK

One place on ebay shows $459!

TBParts - 114cc Bore Kit w/ Race Head GPX Pitster YX Piranha Lifan - TBW9096 - Big Bore and Stroker Kits - Pit Bike Engine Parts - TBolt USA, LLC

Part of the cost is the kit comes with a piston/cylinder AND complete head with valves, carburetor, air filter, cam etc. Most kits reuse your old head/valves.

Here is some posts I found in the pocket bike forum:

http://planetminis.com/forums/chines...n/17260-lifan-

107cc-motor-will-148-big-bore-kit-work.html

Yeah anything over 124cc for a Honda 50 based motor will have to be custom built. I

am running a 141cc Lifan motor and there are a few other members running some big

motors as well...168cc and soon to be a 180cc!

I think the 107cc motor is by Loncin?

X18 Pocket Bike FAQs

Big Bore Kit: Big bore kits are an excellent choice. They can transform your mild

107cc (referred to as 110cc) engine into a high compression 114cc. It does this

using a domed 54mm piston, and over-bored 54mm cylinder. This kit, by far, can make

the biggest difference. For anyone looking for more power, this is the mod to

perform. It does require removal of the head, sleeve, and piston, so it is

important to have some mechanical ability. When combined with a race head, cam, and

24-26mm carb, you can basically double the power of a stock 110.

-----------------

The Dominator 114cc High Compression headkit will work on most all 86-110cc chinese

engines with a cylinder that has a 69mm height. The Dominator transforms your

engine from a small bore 8.5:1 compression lawn mower engine into a 114cc

(depending on stroke) 12.5:1 compression race motor. -The cylinder is made of

aluminum and features a 54mm bore and weighs less than half of what the stock head

weighs so not only do you get more power, you get weight savings as well

-Comes with a domed high compression piston to replace the stock flat top all the

china bikes have.

-Includes all gaskets needed for the install

-We recomend a 24-26mm carburetor with this setup and atleast!

-We recomend our high flow oil pump as well since most parts are removed for this

install anyway.

-93 octane is the lowest we recomend 104 working even better for most conditions.

I will be posting lots of new stuff this next couple weeks so dont get mad about

all the posts..its easier to answer questions when i post about one product only

and how much power does that buy you??? They say it will run 93, but recommend 104...that scares me!

Problems:

1. kit is expensive.

2. More power from roughly the same cc's -- increase compression --> requires high octane. Because these motors don't use a lot of fuel and you can buy special blends of gas or use an additive but that is a hassle and has to be thrown out (or poured in the car tank) to use it up if the mix gets old.

Solution:
I have not used the kit and researched it because I thought BBK's were common for all the standard GY6 motors - that appears not to be the case for the 107cc 110cc Lifan - [if I'm wrong please provide links to other kits].
It seems to make more sense to spend less $$ - ~ $250 and replace the entire motor with a 125cc or 150cc Lifan motor. Save the old 110cc or sell it or reuse it on a go kart, mini bike etc.

Moral of the story...
In my experience it is best to follow the crowd especially for your first BBK ... do a 50cc to (100cc?) lots of bang for the buck. Avoid expensive high compression the less common stuff until you really know what you are doing and decide it is worth it. I could be fun to have a high comp motor and run special gas but I'm not read for that right now.
