110cc Coolster Chinese Gokart starts fine warm But!!!

When i turn the ignition on it cranks and cranks like it wants to start and fter about 10 minutes it finally starts after it warms up from the cranking. I put i in drive and it sputters when flooring the gas but when i back off it goes better but have to keep giving it gas or it stalls. Are these problems related to the carb or is it 2 different problems.

Thanks in advance for any help.

clean the jets in the carb.

Thanks Jaster94, I will give that a shot and report back!

your choke may be malfunctioning also. unsure right now. but it does sound like a fuel delivery issue which would point to the jets.

Back again a year later, I finally got around to getting the carb rebuilt it cost me just over $100. I put the thing on and the motor is doing the same thing maybe just a bit better but not much. What else could i try? Where would a choke be located on one of these machines. Or could it be a CDI? I posted a link to the motor that's in it.

did you rebuild yourself or have a shop do it? it you had a shop do it why did they not set it up and make sure it was running properly. The carb probably needs to be set properly. Cannot see your link but would be help full to see pic's of your actual unit

Like Zrock said, you should locate the mixture screw and fiddle around with that (there is a guide on this forum).

Your issues do really sound like carb related issues.. My ATV did start acting similarly to yours and the CDI was getting a bit warm, but just turning the ATV off and re-plugging the CDI mended the problem.

Also, when you're starting it, try holding the throttle in a little bit. Mine starts, but certainly not as smoothly if I don't give it a little bit.

I had a shop do it. The guy said he had set it to factory settings so i don't know if that is compatible with the motor.

I will check the cdi also.

Thanks!

Thanks Swiftyyy, I will give that a try.
