Jingke carb adjustment
 

Anyone have some info on adjusting these carbs.. I can only find one screw on the right hand side for air /idle adjustment. I cannot find a screw for adjusting the fuel? When you first start it (its a bit of a bear to start) it will idle normaly but after it warms up 10 min or so the idle is way to high. It already feels like the screw is to far out as its pretty loose

did you already check for a vacuum leak? check the flange, the 2 bolted thing that connects the carb to the cylinder/intake. make sure that O-Ring is intact and facing the correct way. from what you're describing, it is either a bad vacuum leak, a mis-installed slide (internal to top of carb where throttle cable comes in), or a jacked up non repairable carb. so let's eliminate the suspects.

Did not realize that I ring went in a certain way. I had the carb apart to clean it as it had sat for years with fuel. Slid seems to be in the right way as it only goes one way.

Checked for vacume leaks. Found one around the intake gasket pulled it apart and could not see a definite direction they went so I used a method for sealing rc nitro carbs and sealed it all up. Also noticed that the fuel line was to big and it was sucking air their as well. Will find out tomorrow when everything is dry

well, your slide can go in 2 different ways. one is correct, the other is wrong. sounds like you obviously know which way is correct, but for the general reader, i'll explain: if the slide is installed correctly, it goes all the way down inside the carb's throat. if it ain't installed correctly, it'll be positioned approximately at 50% open which would naturally rev up the engine seeing how it thinks the throttle position is demanding it. got to look at the internal tits (alignment knobs) vs the slide's alignment grooves.

Well I know I got that one right. Hehe. The slide is sitting on the bottom. With this one the tits are 2 different sizes.

One thing I forgot about is if you look at the second pic bottom engine side. Their is another adjustment screw. From what I have read it is a start jet? How do u adjust that?

oooof, i don't know. i thought those 2 screws were mounting screws for the choke.

I'm talking about the one down in front of the fuel bowl. I think the ones u are looking at are choke mounts. Hehe. Running much better now that I sealed things up

Ok after about a hour of searching i found a carb similar and it turns out to be the fuel mixture screw.. Still cannot find my exact carb online anyware.. Now to adjust that as the tune still sounds a little lumpy
