taotao 110 for 6 year old daughter need help!

I'm going to pick up an atv for my daughter today. She is 6, 45.5" tall, and not sure on weight.... Prolly a little under average for her age maybe 45lbs or so... not sure:huh: .... Anyways, I found a place that sells 3 different models of the ata 110CC atv. The 110B, the 110B3 and the 110D. Each one going up in size of seat height, tire size and just overall size. Anyways, I was thinking the 110B3 was just about the right size for her, but am scare she will grow out of it really quick. It seems almost impossible to find pics of the 110B3 and 110D with kids on them, it's mostly just the 110B (which is too small for her).

If anyone has a pic of their kid (close age to my daughter) on one of the 2 bigger ones please post up!

Welcome to the forums.
At 6, I can't see the smaller option being too small or outgrowing it soon.
In fact, I wouldn't put a 6 yr old with no expierience on a 110.
A 50 or 70 is better suited IMO.

Here she is sitting on my nephews old Chinese atv.... It's comparable to the ATA-110B just older:

I understand your thoughts, but after my wife sent me that pic of our daughter sitting on my nephews old atv I am a little nervous that the 110B will be too small.

She has experience with atv's. She has driven that 50cc shown in the picture. She has also driven a Polaris venom 50cc that a buddy of mine's kid has and my Honda 350 rancher (with me on it). So she has experience riding. I plan to govern the atv down to about 12-15 mph anyways.

I wish I could take her to pick it out so she could test fit the atv's, but that would ruin the surprise for xmas morning!

Cool! Perfect fit IMO.
I'm glad to hear she has expierience and she should be big enough for a 110.
That 50 sure looks like a LT80. I had to look twice. LOL

I've found that as soon as a kid gets big enough to throw the machine around instead of the machine throwing the rider, the parent gets a big idea and gets a bigger machine.
I'm sure she will be very excited. :)
Have fun and Happy Holidays.

nothing wrong with putting a young one on a bigger atv.. my 3 year old rides a 110.. that's why their is a rev limiter.. its actually smaller than my buddy's 80.. its all in how you teach them to ride.. after a summer if riding she handles it like a pro. but i have also had her on a 12v ride in since she was 2. so i have spent alot of time teaching he how to drive.. for her 110 i got a second set of foot rests and moved them up a inch so she was compfortable

"nothing wrong with putting a young one on a bigger atv.. my 3 year old rides a 110"
I can't believe you would say that in public.

Just got back from getting it! Got it for $450, not too bad saying I found a couple shops selling them for around 650 for the same model.

Gonna sneak it to our shop one night and let it run on the stand for about 30 min then change the oil to a full synthetic 10w30 and go to a NGK spark plug. Maybe check all the bolts and what nots....

The red one is my nephews, it's a 125CC w/ forward and reverse:

Also, after getting to the store I realized 3 things!

1: The 110B and the 110B3 are the exact same atv except one has 14" tires and one has 16" tires! I went with the B3 for the bigger tires.

2: The 110B is plenty big for a 6 year old girl.

3: I am in the wrong damn business! They are selling these things like hot cakes! They literally sold 6 while my wife and I were there picking these up!

Lastly for now, does anyone know a good place to buy shocks for a youth atv? The shocks on these things are way to stiff for a child. I just did a quick google search and all that came up were dirt bike shocks!
