With any EFI system I start with the basics, change plug, change fuel filter, blow injector out with airline. If none of that works, it is usually a faulty pump, not producing enough pressure. If you can, pressure test it, they usually run around 50psi. There are problems with testing though, no two models seem to use the same pipe connectors. If fuel pressure is OK, a dying relay could cause a problem showing the above symptoms, but finding it may be difficult. Old Honda 420s have relays that die, producing weird symptoms. Once you know what to look for you can fix them with a new relay.
