No mark or notch on head to align cam sprocket

Has anyone else dealt with this? I have a 110 taotao and it's in pieces. About to assemble but no mark or notch on head or inside for timing for cam sprocket dot. Normally they will be around 9 oclock on most motors . How do you time it right with no mark. Please advise. Thx!
