Newbie to the forum and quads! COOLSTER CARB LEAK
Hey all,
I posted in the new forum section but thought this might be better. My kids got a Coolster ATV-3125XR-8U for the past Christmas and the carb is dumping gas now. Very new and hasn't been used much. It is pouring out of the copper pin in the center of the picture. Any help would be great!
Thanks !
Nik

For fuel to be flowing out that high up, it must be filling the air filter and cylinder too. Check if the sump has been filled with fuel (if it is a four stroke), and change the oil if it has. Remove the plug as the cylinder will almost certainly be "locked" with fuel. If you spin the engine on the starter to get fuel out of the cylinder, be careful, I have set two bikes on fire doing this, as a spark from the plug ignited the spray of fuel from the plug hole.

Thats one of those subjects that is extremely debatable..LOL.. Iv been running ethanol fuel for 6 years in the quads and as long as its been out in small engines. The only time i ever have had issues is when i added stabilizer for the winter months. Every machine and pc of equipment had to be drained. I do nothing to the fuel and its rock solid
