Kandi 250cc water cooled ATV won't throttle up
 

Hi everyone
I bought a kandi 250cc quad .... seller claimed it was a carburetor issue he didn't want to drill out the plug screws .... so I did and cleaned out carb and charged up the battery ... so I gas it up turn on the key and hit starter switch and get a click ...pushed it again and it cranked over but seems to be pulling alot of power to turn over .... anyway so I've started it up a few times and it only runs for 7 to 10 seconds and then it kind of misfires and sputters .... I've replaced the entire wire harness and would like to find a repair manual with some specs or even a descent wiring diagram ..... I checked out the stator .... I think .... could I perhaps have a cracked or sheared off the woodruff key ?
CDI is working and the coil is sparking .... it just doesn't seem to want to run smooth
