Been lurking for a while trying to learn as much as possible about Chinese ATV's. I would like to buy an atv 150cc to 250cc. I have been all over the net looking, all sites make the same promises of service and support. I know many of you have purchased on-line and I could sure use some input from you about dealer experience. I would also like more info on some of the brands, they all look the same to me. I am retiring soon and just want something to ride on Forest Service roads, no jumping or racing, just cruising.

i bought a 150 125 and 110 back in 08 from a decent dealer i think he is still selling the chinese atvs dont remember the guys name but had good before during and after the sale service. and everything came shipped to my door he used a good company to have them shipped to. if this is any help.the name of the dealer was vbike

I bought a vbike too in 2008. I had great service from them. I too am looking at purchasing 2 more Chinese ATV's and I would have no problem purchasing from them again. I believe the guy's name is Tim.

If you are worried about service/support/reliability, I would look for a used Honda Recon/250EX or something similar. You can get local service and those smaller utility/sport machines can really take some abuse and keep on trucking. Price may be a bit higher initially, but cost of ownership is usually going to be much lower, as well as fewer headaches to boot. Chinese quads have come a long way, but there are plenty of 25-30 year old Honda/Suzuki/Yamaha/etc out there today. jmho
