Default Gearing that ='s 22" tires

When I tried my friends 22" ultralites a couple weeks ago I loved the way it geared my qaud, it helped my racing sooo much! The problem is I only have 20" tires and with my funds it don't look like I'll be getting 22" tires anytime soon. So I was wondering how much I should go up on the countershaft or how low should I go on the rear sprocket to equal the gearing that the 22" tires gave me? My gearing is 13/42 right now and it's wayy to low, I don't even use 1st gear at all not even to get going.

Alright, thanks patsraptor!

xcelr8: thanks, it sounds like a good deal but if I'm gonna buy a set of tires I want either ultralites or bigger haulers.

Im running 14/41 and it's right on the money for me, with my Yoshi, K&N and jetting I top out at 78 MPH and I can pick the front up in 2nd gear very easy, I originally went with the 14/40 put I needed I little higher stall speed.

I have 2 friends that have the same engine mods as me.......but one has 22" rear's and stock gearing........and the other has stock tires and a 14t front sproket.......and they both smoke me.......

do you think that the sprocket or tires would make them out accelerate me?

with the 14 on one and the 22s on the other they both have a higher top speed and each gear is longer.
