this kid in my grade wants a banshee. the only thing wrong with that is that there is no sand around here and only woods. this will also be his first quad, yet he has ridin an atv a little. i always thought that banshees sucked in the woods, and tight trails, am i right? i tried to talk him out of it but he won't listen to me. what do you guys think about him getting a banshee.

 

Banshee's like to be in the open but they can work on the trails, just takes a little more rider effort to keep it in the meat of the powerband.

 

yes, but it would take a lot of money to make it good for trail riding.

banshee's aren't your tipical first quad. might want to go with something less to start. jmo

 

How old is this kid? If u ride it in tight woods u will have to have to use the clutch alot, lacks bottom end. Not a typical first quad.

 

I would agree with everyone on this. A Banshee isnt the best beginner quad and to lear to rige it in trails and forest is even worse for a beginner I wold suggest picking something a little easier to ride for him to start on.
