what kind of spocket and chain do you use??

You can try Sprocket Specialists web site. I've bought all my stuff from them. Very good people to deal with. They can answer your questions, and they have a pretty good selection.

Good question Phil. I was just wondering the same. I have looked at the new Survivor Series from Sidewinder, but wondered how it really did. That series is the Ti-Moly. I know a lot of people also like to run non o-ring chains because there is a loss of power from friction on the o-ring chains.

Now keep in mind, this is my own experience with one chain set, but I got my Sidewinder set up last August. They were great on the phone, continually trying to up sell you though. That chain stretched over 3/4" almost in about four races. But was still pleased with the chain and sprocket, even with the excessive stretch. Ran the bike maybe a total of ten hours over the fall and winter. This spring put one ride on it and couldn't figure out what the noise was coming from my machine in the turns. What was happening was the chain had so much lateral movement it was hitting the subframe bolt just below the upper chain roller. I took the chain off and held it vertically like it was on the bike and moved it side to side and it was flexing over two inches!! I was ripped, I just junked it and got another brand which has been much better. This weekend herbdon, had the same thing happen with his Ti also, there was so much side to side it was catching his subframe bolt and actually broke a link. The sprockets I must say have held up pretty well, they ought to for the price. Just my experience which might not be indicative of everyone elses.
