Lets just say I changed my mind in buying one. The first time I rode it it was in a big field thought it was great except the bars were to high, he has aftermarket bars with a alum clamp that he made him self. I also dint like the seat, it was like i was sitting in the bike not on it. Anyway we were at a quad track this weekend and took it for a spin it bottomed very easy, and he has the front shocks cranked up about 2" higher than stock he weighs about 275 6'1" i weigh 175 5'7". If i landed on the down ramps it was fine but if i flat landed it, all i would hear was i loud clank. I quess there at home in fields and dunes and not on a track or tight trails. Not slamming the bike at all...i think it is a great quad, just giving my opinion on it. I thought it had good power, a little high geared, he has 22" holeshots on the back with a 15t front everything else is stock. I think im going to get something my size like a predator but im going to wait for the 04's to come out. Hopfully they will take care of some of the problems that they are having with them.

The DS is NOT a MX machine, If that is your Forta than I would think the Preditor would be an excellent choice. But I have yet to see a machine NOT bottom out when coming up short on a table top. But you r assessment is right on the DS. I know thier are some folks that can set them up for the MX,but it wasn't born that way.

I could talk some **** about how I never bottom out on the track or I always pull the hole shot and place in the top 2, but I won't. I weigh 160 and have no problems racing it,but I just may know how to ride? only 1 down fall, the same with my raptor, top heavy in the corners.

There is that BIG chunk of land below CA called the Baja, its on every map. I am still looking for a place on earth called baha..
