I'm looking for what everyone uses on their Raptors. What kind of ridding you do? Would you also give rear tire sizes.

Thanks

For Desert/Dunes I use the stock gearing (13/42 I think ?). Sidewinder all the way around - Ti-moly Rear, steel front, Ti-moly chain.

Add the rear tire diameter too - it greatly impacts the overall gearing.

I run 22" rears for the top speed in the dez......

I am running a 12 tooth in the front and 42 in the rear and I ride in the desert, for racing I switch to a 15 tooth sprocket up front and a 42 in the rear!! If you have any questions about n e thing let me know!!

13/42 combo with 22" Shredders out back. I primarily trail ride. When I went from 20" tires too the heavier Shredders....I went from 14/40 too the beforemantioned ratio just too get acceleration back too the same (had a buddy too run before and after). Tires make a huge difference in gearing and power no doubt.

I am running stock gearing with 20" tires and pretty happy with it. I am thinking of changing gearing to gain a little low end acceleration. I think it is geared just a little high when i am in the woods, what wold you guys suggest? I don't want to lower it alot, just a tiny bit...
