picking up my new raptor

Being that this is the Kawasaki forum and not the Yamaha, you'll probably get responses like "It wont matter, the Craptor wont last long anyway", but I'm not that kind of person so i'll be nice and say that the owners manuel will tell you exactly what to do and what not to do inthe break in period. Make sure to read it carefully and i'm sure you'll have many years on your new bike. Good luck!

The main key on any break-in ..... is to not over heat it. If you give it the max for a bit........ ride easy for a bit.
The Kawi books say not more than 50% throttle for 10 hours. I can't believe that anyone does that ???
