E-Ton 90
#1
I'm getting my son a mini quad this summer. And the only two quads I can get local is the E-Ton 90
03 for $1699 or 04 for $1799. The next choice would be a 03 Polaris predator for $2025. Price wise I would be saving $326 if I went with the 03 E-Ton. And $226 with the 04.
So is it worth going with the Polaris and paying the extra cash. I know nothing about E-Ton. I've checked past post and found very little about them. Thanks for any advice.

WOW! So your ready to go.
We just purchased for R & D purposes the Predator 90, the 2004 Viper 90, the xtreme PRO100.
Of the two you are looking at Choose the ETON. It has a lower seat height, lower/cooler better performing tires, 520 chain, rear disc brake, horn, headlights in need of a pigtail only, running lights front and rear. There are fewer parts to remove for maintanence. My son loves it, especially the horn. Buy the 2004! These things are a great bargin, especially at the price you listed as being able to purchase them at. The Polaris is a cool unit with the looks and all but has a complex ignition system to overcome when it comes to performance time. Both units are good, but from experience BUY THE ETON!
LIGHTS, HORN AND ALL!

Okay.
Went and looked at the E-Ton today and they was having a youth ATV sale. They lowered there prices $100 off of any youth ATV. Plus since I've purchased an ATV from them in the past. They lowered it another $100. So I'm going with the E-Ton. But just to throw this in. They had a Dinli Diamond back/T Rex 90 there. It's a little bigger and fits my 9 yr old a little better than the E-Ton. Have heard some good things about them, but never known anyone to own one. Let me know.

Go witth the Eton...Got my son a 2003 50cc Eton Viper last fall and the bike has been flawless...I can't get him off the damn thing. Besides the fact that they are a great bargin, he'll grow out of it in short order, so why spend the extra money when the bike is as good or better

Get the Eton. I have an 03' 50 Eton Viper for my 5 yr. old. Got it for Christmas and rarely misses a day riding it. It's water and mud proof. I gradually increased the throttle limiter until it was all the way out. Last week I cut the rev limiter wire. The engine smoothed out on the top end and went from about 15mph to 21mph. If your kid becomes boared with the performance just snip the rev limiter wire. The little 50 really wakes up.

I have researched the miniquads alot to get my son his new one. Everything considered I bought him a '04 E-ton 90. The LT80 was too narrow. That was the other option for the quad. I paid just under $2k. I have the rev limmiter all the way in (break in) and it is still quick. I get on the thing and it will pull me up the hills with out any problem. E-ton stopped production of the '03 model in Jan. There was such a high demand for them that they had to start production of them again, but as an '04. The new thing is...no headlights. the housing and wiring is still there though. Hydraulic rear brakes are great. Front and rear marker lights. adjustable front and rear shocks. it has the peg for the addition of a kick start back-up, but doesn't come with the quad. Once broken in, this quad top speed is about 34 mph. Son LOVES it and I am VERY pleased with the quad.

I'm leaning towards the polaris pred 90. I know its more expensive but my son is 8yrs old and is 54 inches (4ft 5in) and weighs in at 65 pounds. The pred just fits him better. The e-ton seemed small for him. I'm going riding tomorrow, and wish that he already had his. I need to go ahead and do it soon. Am glad you like your purchase. Enjoy... I know your kid will.

The kickstarter is under the seat, it was on my new 2004 VIPER. The head lights just have chrome stickers over them and then you get the pig tails and plug in the wires and put the bulb in the socket. Lights ON!
