It appears that the rear seal on a wolverine is made to keep dust out, not water!!!!! its been letting water in ever since it was new, also the seal has been replaced once due to bent axle. My daughters timberwolf does the same, COME ON YAMAHA THIS DESIGN WILL NEVER KEEP OUT WATER, boy I feel better since I got that off my chest. I read on this board about the possibilty of a re-designed rear seal, is this true, if so can anyone supply the part number?????

The 2000 have a different seal onthe back It looks beefier. You might want check the boot on the back of the engine for a tear it might be letting water in that way to. maybe check the one on the brake side to.
