I just bought a Kazuma Meerkat 50 for my son, I do not know how well it will hold up but straight out of the box it started right up and seemed to run well! Unfortunately it is VERY SMALL and we ended up sending it back and getting a Panda 100 because my kid is a a really big 5 y/o and couldn't fit his feet between the wheel wells.
If you want to talk to some really good guys go to this site get the number and talk to Dean, he has done right by me and really helped me out at a substantial cost to himself.

Sorry I couldn't help a little more I will post after the DROID gets to run his panda for a while!!

I would check out Eton quads. They have had a good turn-out on there atvs. They make a 40, 50, and 90. I think the 50 is around the $1500 but it is the coolest looking. It kinda looks like a Raptor 90 but made by Eton.

Andrew has been riding his Panda 100 for about a week now and all in all it seems like a good running little machine! The only issue so far is that the throttle cable is a little too long and has some slop in the throttle but the guys are sending me a new one.
hope this helps

how small is the meerkat compared to other 50cc mini atv's. Or say in comparison to the fisher-price "power-wheels" atv version. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Also any feedback on the dino by dinli or the coyote w/ a yamaha engine. Im trying to find something for my 4 yr old. he rides the hell out of his atv power wheels but he isnt getting good traction and has gone through 2 gear boxes. i think he's ready for something a little more realistic. thanks-

Quality of the Dinli's is real good, I checked out the Kazuma's when they first came out here and wasn't impressed with their build quality.

The Meerkat is in the same size range than the mini kids quads.
It is a little (5cm) smaller than the lt 50's, and a bit bigger than the power wheels batt toys.
A very good next step for the kids aged 4 to six
My kids still both have the power wheels, but havn't ridden it since the quads came along.
The youngest of 5 fits the LT 50 perfect the older one (9) still fits and rides the 50, but I would suggest 8 is the the time to upgrade.
My neighbour got the meerkat two days ago, and I will keep you posted on this one.
Price was good, but we will still see if it lasts.

Hi there, I own two 50 cc kazuma meercats. they are very small. They vibrate parts loose steady from the carb to the electrical comonents. The owners manual does not give a description of valve gap to set or how to do it, but requires you to do it after one month! The quads I have are loosing power because the valves probably need to be set, I am in the proccess of finding the gap and how to do it now, so I will let you know> Jim...
