If you are happy with

I'm very happy with my quad. Relatively light, agile, decent power, and uncomplicated (read easy to work on). It gives me elements of both sport and utility quads without being extreme in the either. Best of all, I have less money in my 2 Recons and a new trailer than 2 of my friends have in either of their new Grizzly or SP 500! Now obviously my Recon ain't gonna go where those 2 bikes do, but that's OK too. As long as your bike fulfills your individual need, that's the name of the game.

I;ve had my 00 Xplorer for 2 months now.So far im extremly pleased.I had a 99 500cc Sportsman that I liked to,but it did spend alot of time in the shop for repairs though.
The Xplorer give me 110lbs LESS weight to throw around,it is more nimble, has excellant throttle response, and still offers a nice ride.I really like the fact that it is not so much ''utility'' as the Sportsman.I can still work with the Xplorer to.When it comes time for me to hook something to the trailor hitch for work,it will do that for me as well.
Playing?
Hills offer no challenge to this 2 stroke monster.Throttle response is fast and now.Because of the higher/faster RPMs that the 2 stroker reaches,it is not neccessary to allways jump to low range on hills for a better belt engagement.Mud has not been an issue with this beast either.I really cant say if it is better than the Sportsman yet. From the few tests I've personally had with the Xplorer,it seems to be at least as good as the Sportsman though.
The oil injection is great.Fill ups to the injection tank are nice to.I've heard some owners get between 350-400 miles before filling up the injection tank.It looks as if they are correct.
I did'nt really miss the ride of the Sportsman until my brother [I sold him my Sportsman] and I were riding and we switched rides.MAN,what a differance. And I really thought the Xplorer rode pretty good. You see,it had been allmost one month since I last rode the Sportsman.I did'nt think there was much differance until my bro and I switched,I'll never say that again.
All in All?Im very pleased with my newest quad, hope things stay that way.====BILL

I can tell you that I'm much happier with my Scrambler than I would have been with a TRX 400 EX. Sorry, if I wanted to push a four wheeler, I'd have bought a 300EX ( what good is reverse if it's too much a pain in the A** to use)

I now own two Polaris 4 wheelers and love them. I have a warn winch and a snowplow on my 98 Magnum 4x4 and I love it. It is actually fun to plow snow again. My wife and I use our four wheelers around the yard and for trail riding in the local riding area. I just wish I had more time to ride them.
