I'm thinking about getting a quad but I have after seen so many different quads I don't know which one to chose. I'm thinking about the Suzuki Z250, Yamaha Blaster, and Kawasaki Bayou 250. I want a machine that is good for the woods but I want a faster machine. Help Me!!

 

How big are of a guy are you?? The new blaster now has good brakes and with a pipe, filter and jetting will probably be the fastest of the 3.

 

Me? I'm 5'8" and 155 pounds. I was leaning towards the Blaster for a while but when I saw the Z250 I liked it. I liked the Z400 and KFX 400 but I don't want something that big especially where I live. I only wants a 200 or 250. One guy here got a Bayou 250 and he said it's a good machine so I was looking at that too. What would you say is the top speed for all three of them? How far would you get on a tamk of gas in the Z250?

 

That would be a good investment for you air, it would deffinittly be faster than that trinity 727 you got!! well i wouldn't get the bayou
the blaster is going to be faster and have a better mod potential then the z
the only thing the z will probably have on the blaster is handling.
sit on a blaster and see if you feel ok. if you do i'd go with a blaster get a pipe and new tires and your set....

 

the blaster will be the quickest of the three. plus its easier to mod. I am 5'8" 180 and fit on mine just fine. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Hey air just so you no a blaster would kick the $hit out of a kasea 250 even though it is a twin its very slow and you need to keep it reved to the moon to get any power out of it . The only thing good about it is how it sounds.

 

well i have a z250 and its an awesome quad.i read in a magazine that the z can stay with the blaster.and the z is wider and better for off road. any of these two i recommend but dont get a honda those are so slow.

 

I think The Blaster is the Best out of the 3. Its Top speed is 56 a Z250 is 55 and I dont know what the Bayou is. The Blaster is by far the quickest to. It gets to Top Speed alot Faster then the Others. The Z has better handling then Blaster and it has electric Start so thats a good things. If you want to Mod them the Blaster is the Way to Go But keeping Stock the Blaster is Still the Fastest. I perfer the peppy 2 stroke but thats just my 2 cents I sold my Blaster and Got a Raptor. I'm 5'7 and I didnt Really like the Feel of the Smaller Quads So I went up in Size. I Got the bigger Quad because when I get older and bigger I will like a Bigger Quad but I'm Already looking at the 727 Kit. But good luck at what you get and have fun with it
