Are predator sales good??

the dealer here cant keep them in stock. and if sales is slowing it may be because of parts it took me 2 months to get a friggin oil filter and they say you need to change the oil one hour after riding it for the first time

I also think that part of it is that knowone is having any serious problems, other than the occasional newbie question or a moddification query!

Me being a long time brand loyal Yamaha owner (I've owned 5 different machines of theirs) and then picking up the predator 6 months ago and starting to visit the Polaris forum, I've noticed a difference between forums, and the owners in general........
I can't put my finger on it, but I'd say the Polaris people aren't quite as vocal, and seem more low key. Kinda like the Ford/Chevy crowd that seems to spend a whole bunch of time doing pissing matches to see who is top dog, but then there are us Dodge owners quiet and off to the side.
Dare to be different? Maybe we're happy with what we own and don't have to always justify it to ourselves or others?
Like I said, after years and years in the Yamaha forum, and now just a 6 month old Polaris poster, I've noticed a difference, but can't quite put my finger on it.
Am I going too far to say I feel welcome amongst the Polaris Family? I never felt that way while talking about my 400cc stroker warrior or 400cc built banshee..........
IMHO, Most Polaris owners most likely aren't quite as passionate or fanatical about posting every day about their quads.
Even look at the Forum Message count by brand.......at this moment:
Yammy @ 24,608 posts
Honda @ 18,387 posts
Polaris @ 16,955 posts
Suzuki/Kawi/Bombs and Cannondales all under 7,000............
Shows a bit of the demographics, and look at the numerous utility or " family type " Gas and Go Polaris quads offers

Who you calling " not passionate or fanatic" ? hehe. I just like 'em. Nice points Dave. Ya see, that rocket fuel doesn't melt the logic of the brain. The day Heapster shows up with an "ignite" button on the Predator...better stand back, or bring the makings for Smores!
