I changed my brake pads in the rear of my raptor on the weekend and noticed there was play in my rotor and sprocket. The play isn't side to side it is up and down. The play is about a couple mm on both the rotor and sprocket.

Sounds like your axle is slightly loose. tighten the nuts on the axle or eventually the splines for the brake and sprocket hubs will wear out.
