When is this gonna come out??? im anxious to race and win anyone thats gonna own this! does anyone know what the name is gonna be?

Why do you wanna race it and win so bad? Cause you can't beat the big bores? Look at all the work you've done to your 250r, duh your gonna win! Why must you prove it? I think it will be light and fast though (beat a pred) and I bet anything it will out handle any quad on the market. I just think that is what Yamaha will aim for. I'm not bashing you I just don't understand the point of racing when you know your gonna win.

 

so if it will beat a predator what use will yamaha have to market the raptor anymore? I dont see them making a 450cc quad that will outperform their "top line" bigbore- yknow? Kinda like Chevy with the corvette/camaro- If the camaro was advertised with more HP and faster they'd have a harder time peddling the more expensive "top line" model. Right?

 

Never said it would out perform the Raptor (which way out performs the Pred.). it was just my opinion ********.

 

I have no problems with big bores (650, 660, 700) theyre all anchors...theyre not goin anywhere. Yamaha with a good handling quad??? lol thatll be the day! i agree that it will be fast but good handling...thats pushing it alittle. i dont mean to bash on yama's new quad, im sure its gonna be a mean one.

Whoa. Guess I mistakenly touched a F-cking nerve. I keep forgetting that people like you are soo touchy when it comes to something possibly being better, EVEN when its from the same manufacturer. Maybe you shoulda just bought a pecker extension instead of that quad.

binford: LOL it's funny that you think I'm worried that a stock 450cc machine is gonna be better than my Rappy, if I thought it were gonna be better for what I do wouldn't I brag about it and want to buy it? Actually, if I were doing MX or something similar I would deffinatly take the 450cc quad over a Rappy! When I bought the quad I DID buy a pecker extention, now I've got elephantitus [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

crackhead: I don't think a 400 lb. Rappy is an anchor but the DS and 700 are freakin tanks! I know how built 250r's run and I know they could take on a 450 class 4 stroke. I've never been beaten by any 250r's and I've come across some pretty freakin nice ones that I raced!
