What is the top speed for a stock honda 250X and a stock 300EX?

 

they are both the same cause they are both geared the same.the ex gets to the top speed quicker though

 

Do you know what the top speed is though?

 

mine will do right at 55. maybe a little more

1992 250X,maier racing plastic in front,DG RCM pipe,nerf bars,maier bark busters,turf tamer tires.

 

my stock 250x will do about 56

 

right now my 91 250x does 62/63, it has supertrap exhaust, and a different jets, other than that its stock, I have just bought a 86 350x engine and am waiting 4 custom exhuast from Powroll racing to make it fit in the 250 chassis. (it shipped out today finally!) hopefully the 100cc more and the 6 speed tranny will give me some more power.

Do you like your 250R better than your 250 soon to be 350X? I have been thinking about getting a 250R

 

The 250r is a 3 wheeler, not as easy to ride as a quad, but still very fun, trail riding its not great, i would much rather have the 250x, but running down the road or if you have a straight strech the 250r is the one with power, I was clocked beside a streetbike doing 86, that was top end in 6th gear. She will pull the front tire off the ground 1st - 4th at least. Both have there ups and downs, I do a lot of trail riding and the 250r fouls plugs every once in a while riding slower like that.

 

They make a trx250r quad. too
