Default Spark plug question

I usually run a b8egv plug and it worx great but it fouled today and i didnt have anymore so i put a regular b8es. It worx fine until i pin it (or reach high rpms) in any gear, it starts to sputter really bad to the point where i start goin slower even though im flooring it! If i keep it pinned in a low gear 1-4th it will clear out in about 10-15 seconds (but thats torture for my engine). Whats goin on with it? do i need to change the gap?? its at the regular out-of-the box gap. any help is appreciated thnx~

Maybe the running problem you have is what fouled the other plug? It doesn't really sound like a bad spark pkug but possibly a carburetor problem.
